We are looking for team-oriented individual who will help us continue to expand and grow. We current have a full-time, 3rd shift Evaporator Operator position available at our Comstock Park, MI plant. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position with a 4 day work week: shift hours 8PM to 6AM, Monday evening through Friday morning. This individual must have knowledge of and prior experience operating an evaporator. This individual will observe and control levels and pressures of the evaporator. Possess the ability to ensure product meets specifications; maintain operating records; basic math, writing and computer skills including touch screen operations; troubleshoot equipment; perform necessary routine cleaning and preventative maintenance; prevent spills; monitor equipment for abuse and break-downs; perform necessary routine cleaning & maintenance of the facilities, equipment, etc. and other duties as assigned This individual must maintain safe working conditions and compliance with all state and federal regulations regarding health and safety issues.
Candidates should be able to work in teams effectively and encourage a positive work environment, demonstrate ability to effectively trouble-shoot and use problem solving skills, have sound communication skills – both verbal and written, possess basic math and writing skills, have skill set which includes proficient use of computers, demonstrate ability to ensure all documentation is timely, accurate and complete, completes pre-operational checks on all equipment before starting a process, have the ability to learn multiple job duties, be able to lift 55 pounds on a regular basis, be able to work at elevated heights, be able to work in varying environments and possess maintenance skills.
