Inventory Control Specialist/Analyst

We are looking for a team-oriented individual who has a passion for bringing value to their team.

Duties & Responsibilities:

You will be responsible for working with the team to manage inventory controls and provide direction in the area of inventory processes, inventory variances and an inventory tracking system in a process manufacturing environment.  You will be charged with building relationships, open lines of communication and working collaboratively with our 17+ Employer-owned manufacturing facilities, our logistics and procurement team, technical animal nutrition team, field sales team, finance team and our general office to secure an efficient and accurate inventory process.

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, mathematics and/or significant “in process manufacturing” inventory experience and supply chain management, preferably in the agriculture manufacturing environment.  (5+ years of high-level experience preferred)
  • Exceptional organizational skills are a must,
  • Ability to work in and promote a team environment
  • Strong understanding of in process manufacturing environment, liquid products specifically.  We do NOT build little red wagons.
  • Demonstrated knowledge and proven successful experience in accounting, record keeping, phone, email, internet, Microsoft Word, Excel; along with exceptional verbal and written forms of communication.
  • Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, work under deadlines, and function well as part of a team. Must have strong analytical skills with experience in inventory management and the proven ability to build effective team relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Must be able to travel on a limited basis by automobile and plane to complete physical inventory spot checks at our locations across the United States.
