Human Resource Generalist

We are seeking a dynamic, highly organized individual to add to our team at our corporate office in Dodgeville, WI.

Duties and responsibilities: This person will be responsible for building positive business relationships with our team members, and the day-to-day general Human Resource and Payroll duties, including providing valuable support to our team members. This individual will assist with recruiting, onboarding and orientation of more GREAT individuals to our team across all of our departments and within the United States. Attention to detail as well as proficiency in math is extremely important.

You’ll be a great fit if:

  • You possess a willingness to ask questions, contribute your thoughts and ideas, exceptional ability to problem solve and be open to improvement.
  • Associates Degree at a minimum or at least 2 years’ experience in human resources/payroll and/or benefits for another professional entity
  • Prior experience in recruiting, employee on-boarding, benefits administration, compliance and employee record keeping.
  • Proficient at MS Office, Email, Internet, Social Media, and Video Conferencing.
  • Possess the characteristics which will encourage our positive workplace culture based on working together and supporting each other on a daily basis
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and with others.
  • Willingness to take ownership and responsibility for projects and areas within our department, continued progress toward streamlining processes and improving the value our team strives to provide.
  • You are open, friendly, energetic while maintaining a professional etiquette when engaging with others.
  • You hold yourself accountable for your growth, success, manage your time effectively, exhibit exemplary communication in person, on the phone, and in writing; and has the ability to adapt your demeanor and respond most appropriately to each individual and situation.
  • Have a willingness to address team members questions, and concerns in a timely and compassionate way.
  • You have the ability to stay focused, meticulous with the details, yet flexible with sudden changes to keep an upbeat and positive work environment is key.
  • You understand the importance of documentation, accurate records, compliance regulations and deadlines and have the ability to successfully comply.

Education: Associates Degree at a minimum or at least 2 years’ experience in human resources/payroll and/or benefits for another professional entity.
