• The LaSalle, IL Animal Feed Supplement plant was the first plant to start production of QLF liquid feed supplements in 1981.
  


• The plant is a FCI facility, Safe Feed/Safe Food, and FDA registered facility.
  


• LaSalle has 6 mix tanks:
  • (1) 32 ton mixer for Suprcoats
  • (1) 32 ton mixer for NPN products
  • (2) Gum mixers
  • (1) 9 ton custom mix tank
  • (1) 22 ton calcium mix tank
  
  
• The plant has:
  • 16 - custom feed tanks
  • 10 - Stock tanks
  • 13 - Calcium feed tanks
  • 5 - Stock calcium feed tanks
  • 35 - Ingredient tanks
  • 46 - Molasses tanks


• The feed supplement plant can store 6500 tons of molasses.
  


• The plant has five load-out stations for loading trucks.
  


• LaSalle unloads 33-36 molasses barges per year and 10-13 (dry) urea barges a year.

• Gary Zurinski is the Plant Manager. One full-time administrative assistant, two full-time feed mixers. Two full-time plant maintenance/barge employees and one part time employee.
